This is a positive mark for data portability. As you know, I’m moving away from Twitter and onto Friendfeed. Problem with a move like this is connecting up with people on the new service. Looking for all 280+ of my twitter friends on Friendfeed would be time consuming, monotonous work. But there’s a much easier way.

It had to be said, point blank. No more complaining. No more threatening to leave. No more “woe is me, I miss twitter” sobbing. Twitter Is Not A Reliable Enough Service To Build A Network Around. I would think that the dream of any social network or web service provider would be to have it’s users adopt it
